We are a small company based in North Wales without a nearby post office. Orders will be processed and despatched as soon as possible, posting days are normally Tuesday and Friday for UK items, Wednesday for items outside the UK. On occasion this may take longer, please bear in mind these times before contacting us regarding delivery.
Orders outside the UK over the value of £25 will be sent tracked and signed when possible. The tracking number will be sent to you on despatch.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You should receive e-mail confirmation of your order, but for one reason or another this sometimes fail to reach the customer. Don't worry if you receive no confirmation, it's a pretty safe bet the order has reached us, so no need to order again. Stock orders should be current so please take this into account when taking your order, please just e-mail if you want to check.
We take paypal payment but an account is not necessary to pay by this means, Continue with the checkout process until you reach the login page then checkout as a guest.
We are unable to accept credit card or other payments over the phone of by any other means. If in the UK and prefer to pay by cheque, please make payable to Starling Models.
We do not have a shop and the business address is not available for collection of purchases.
We are not VAT registered in the UK so orders in the UK and EU do not include VAT. You may be charged import tax on orders made from outside these areas.
We guarantee your satisfaction. Any item can be returned WITHIN 28 DAYS for a full refund if it is defective, or is returned to us for exchange or refund in the condition you reeceived it. In the latter case, you will have to cover your own shipping costs, and there will be a 5% of order value restock charge. If an item arrives back with us damaged, ie "second quality", then we will only refund 1/3 of the value of the item. We suggest that you make sure that you are insured for returned packages.
Outside the period of 28 days we are under no obligation to accept returns of items.
Sometimes items go missing in the post, most of our deliveries are sent with tracking so the parcel can be located. Should the parcel not arrive within 14 days of your notification of despatch, please contact us and we will attempt to resolve the matter. If your parcel could not be delivered and is returned to us, we will request repayment of postage before sending again.
